Rationale: l. Promoting wellness among the over 65 year old members will enhance their
quality of life and reduce health care expense for the whole person life system.
2. Offering wellness services to the 35 to 65 year old members will be a marketing
tool for the whole person life system.
3. Wellness services will be provided initially at current clinics. System members
can join patient education programs already being provided to clinic clients.
System members will be introduced to Chader clinics and may utilize the clinics
for other services during the years between 35 and 65 years old.
4. As Wellness Awareness gains momentum in Taiwan, wellness programs may
evolve into separate Health and Exercise Clubs. Whole person life members
might have the opportunity to gain access to a broader range of services and exercise equipment at a discounted rate.

3. Exercise prescription/ P.T.
4. Nutrition and diet
5. Body mechanics/ P.T. and O.T. : back care; posture in sitting, standing, driving,
desk; preventing repetitive stress injuries
6. Stress management—relaxation techniques; leisure; sleep
7. Time management
HEALTH AND EXERCISE CLUB 1. Continue above Wellness Program
2. Exercise equipment: treadmills; steppers; elliptical steppers; ergometric
stationary bikes; recumbent stationary bikes; strengthening equipment;
free weights; swimming pool; track; arm crank ergometer; wheelchair
rollers.
3. Personal trainers
4. Rehabilitation Programs: cardiac rehabilitation; sports injury rehab; knee
rehab; total hip and knee rehab.
